Shopping-agent guide
Superbuy sits between you and the Chinese storefront. Instead of buying direct from Taobao or Tmall, you send Superbuy an item link, they purchase it on your behalf, receive it in their warehouse, photograph what arrived, and store it until you decide how to ship. The basic purchasing service carries no agent fee for life, which is the main reason buyers use it, but the shipping and the optional extras are where the real money moves.
A typical run goes like this. You find products — either by browsing domestic marketplaces yourself or by using the Superbuy product search tool, which pulls domestic listings into a filterable list you can compare by price, style and seller. You paste the links into your Superbuy order and pay for the goods. When items land in the warehouse, Superbuy photographs them (three free photos, six for Weidian) and the 90-day storage clock starts. During that window you keep ordering, and you can add cheap fillers like socks, underwear or phone cases to a parcel without meaningfully raising the shipping cost, because carriers bill on weight and volume. When you are ready, you pick a shipping line, consolidate everything into one parcel and pay the estimated postage.
Two cautions matter most. First, the shipping quote is a deposit against estimated weight; the final figure comes from the carrier's measurement, and any overpayment is returned as Superbuy credit rather than cash. Second, the value-added services that make an item easier to ship — shoe-box removal, tag removal, ironing, power-on testing for electronics — also make it non-returnable. Use them deliberately, not by habit. Items cannot sit in the warehouse forever either: free storage runs 90 days and the hard maximum is 180 days, after which they are considered abandoned. Payment is equally worth planning: top-up fees differ sharply by method, with bank transfer and Wise far cheaper than card or Apple Pay. Fee figures on this page reflect Superbuy's published schedule from September 2026 and can change, so verify the current rate at checkout.
