What we publish
Kakobuy News publishes hands-on reviews of shopping agents, shipping lines and the goods people move through them, plus explainers on fees, consolidation, duty thresholds and QC photo reading. Every scored review is based on items our testing team ordered and tested itself. We name the agent, the warehouse, the shipping line and the date.
How we choose what to cover
We pick topics from three places: reader email, changes we spot in agent rate cards or shipping line schedules, and findings that need reassessment. We prioritise agents and lines that people in our inbox actually use, and we say so when a topic came from a reader.
Commercial relationships
Kakobuy News earns affiliate commission when readers order through some of the links on this site. We are a publisher inside that commercial relationship, not outside it, and we say that plainly rather than describing ourselves as unaffiliated. Commission never changes a score, a comparison table figure or a retest decision, and any agent that has ever paid us for anything is labelled on the page.
Updates and corrections
Price, fee and shipping changes are common in this niche. When a rate card or a courier schedule moves, we update the affected table and state the new source-check or effective date. A table update does not reset the date of an earlier hands-on test. Corrections are handled under our corrections policy, and substantive changes are noted at the foot of the page with the date.
Sources and limits
News reports distinguish the announcement date, effective date and source-check date. Scored reviews identify the order and test record; a service announcement is not a firsthand review.
