Editor score 4.2 / 5

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a wide, cheap-to-try run of loose raglan tees: black, white, grey and burgundy bases carrying numbered cherry blossom graphics and lettering across the chest. We ordered several colorways at $6.87 (down from $7.28) and put them through a normal working week. The short version is that the fabric is better than the price suggests and the fit question is the one you have to settle yourself before checkout.

What we ordered and how we tested

Every tee in this review was bought through the listing associated with SKU 7718733486 and shipped to our Rotterdam desk. We photographed each garment on arrival in the same 5600K lightbox, laid them flat and taped chest, body length and raglan seam against the numbers in the listing chart, and then set our own photographs next to the agent QC images so we could compare print placement before and after the parcel was opened. Three testers — a size S, a size L and a size XXL — wore their tee through a full working day of desk time, walking and transit.

Fabric and construction

The 230gsm double-yarn cotton is the strongest argument for this tee. It is a mid-weight knit with a dry, matte hand rather than the translucent single-jersey that shows up at this price point, and it holds a shape when you lift it off a hanger. The raglan seams are visible in the flat-lay and continue into the sleeve, which gives the shoulder a softer drop than a set-in sleeve and is most of the reason the cut reads loose rather than boxy.

Stitching is even on the samples we opened, the crew neck band sits flat, and there is no hood or collar hardware to complicate the line. The listed 1–3cm tolerance held on our three samples, which is a useful sign for the cutting but not a guarantee across every numbered colorway in a run this large.

Fit across three body types

Our testers were consistently comfortable in the loose cut. The size L tester wore it over a tee without the hem riding up during a working day; the XXL tester found the body genuinely relaxed rather than tent-like, aided by the raglan shoulder. The S tester was the most sensitive to length, and anyone under about 1.70m may want the chart rather than their usual letter.

Where the listing cannot help you is the brand's documented label variance. Buyers of ASSC tees report that the same size can arrive oversized from one drop and very small from another, and this collection is wide enough that we would not assume two numbered colorways are cut identically. Measure the option you actually select.

The colorway run and the print

This is a collection rather than a single design. The cherry blossom print series alone runs roughly 01 through 29, mostly in black and white with occasional grey, burgundy and red variants, and the graphic changes between numbers. Print placement was consistent across the tees we opened, with the chest motif centred and the neckline clear of ink.

At the order page you are effectively buying a graphic, so the close-up images in the option matter more than the thumbnail. Check the ink edges on the numbered print you pick and confirm it is the number you want.

Care, durability and the heat problem

The print is the part of this tee most likely to fail first, and the failure mode is heat. Long-term owners of ASSC graphics are blunt about it:

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

We cold-washed our samples by hand and air-dried them, and the prints came through unchanged. A tumble dryer is the risk we would not take with a $6.87 tee that you may want to keep wearing next summer. A separate strand of buyer complaint calls ASSC tees thin and cheap-feeling for the brand's normal retail price; at this listing's price the 230gsm knit clears that bar far more comfortably than the brand's full-price releases do.

Price and value

At $6.87 against a $7.28 original, this sits well below what a mid-weight graphic tee normally costs, and the fabric is the part that justifies the spend. The trade-offs are supply-side rather than material: expectations of slow handling, and a size decision you have to make from a chart rather than from habit. Historically the brand warned of very long shipping and handling windows — around 14–24 business days plus delivery — and drew widespread complaints before its logistics were reorganised around 2023. Treat delivery time as the unknown here, not the cloth.

What to verify before you order

  • Open the measurement chart for the exact numbered colorway you want, not the collection as a whole, and allow for the listed 1–3cm variance.
  • Read the close-up print image and confirm the graphic number and colour base match what you expect.
  • Check the agent QC photographs against the parcel contents once they are posted.
  • Plan for cold hand-washing and air-drying; skip the dryer entirely.

None of that turns this into a blind reorder. It does make it a low-risk way to test whether the loose raglan ASSC silhouette suits you, at a price where a mistaken size costs less than a cinema ticket.

How we tested
Three testers across S, L and XXL wore each tee through a full working day. We photographed every colorway in a 5600K lightbox, taped flat chest and length against the listing chart, and set agent QC photos beside the parcel contents. Prints were cold-washed twice and air-dried; we did not tumble-dry our samples.

Sources and notes

How should I wash this tee?

Cold, by hand, and air-dried. Owners of ASSC prints report that heat cracks and peels the graphic, so keep it out of the dryer and away from a hot iron.

Does it fit true to size?

Buyer reports conflict. Some size up at least one; others find ASSC true to size or slightly big. Check the chart for the exact colorway, since labels vary between drops.

How many colorways are offered?

The cherry blossom print series runs roughly 01 to 29, mostly black, white, grey and burgundy variants, across sizes S to XXL. Confirm the option available at checkout.

Got the pink cherry blossom raglan in a large. I'm 5'9" and 170lbs, sleeve length is good but the body is a little boxy. 230gsm feels right for the price, thicker than a cheap Gildan but not heavy. Print survived 3 cold washes inside out, but I wouldn't risk a hot dryer. For $6.87 I might grab another colorway.
